The story of Boutique Apartments Koogerend began at the end of 2022, when two entrepreneurial sisters from the coastal village of Egmond, just north of Amsterdam, bought a historic farmhouse B&B in the picturesque artists’ village of Bergen.

Their passion for hospitality was sparked and led them to the lovely Wadden Island of Texel, a place they love to visit with their families. In 2023, a unique opportunity brought them to this special spot, where the transformation began in autumn 2024, and where, in the summer of 2025, the first four luxury apartments will open their doors.

This is what we envision with Koogerend: a home away from home, where we do everything we can to make your stay as carefree as possible.
