The story of Boutique Apartments Koogerend began in late 2022, when two entrepreneurial sisters from North Holland purchased a historic farmhouse with a B&B in the picturesque artists’ village of Bergen.

This sparked their passion for hospitality and led them to the beautiful Wadden island of Texel, a place they also love to visit with their families. In 2023, a unique opportunity brought them to Koogerend. The first phase of the transformation began in 2025, with the realisation of four luxury apartments. This spring marks the next step, with the renovation of the exterior and the addition of six new wellness apartments, bringing Koogerend to its full potential this summer.

This is the vision behind Koogerend: a true home away from home, where every detail is taken care of to ensure a relaxed and effortless stay.
